Premier’s Master Window Film Installers have a combined 40 years of experience in the clear bra and window tint industry. In addition to this experience, we carry only the best films on the market for our distinguished clients. Not only are we concerned about the quality of our products, but also the degree of excellence in which it is applied. We have a specially designed window tint booth in our facility that provides our installers optimal lighting and working conditions to obtain the best results possible.
With a wide range of films on the market, it can become confusing for the consumer to filter out what he / she really needs for their vehicle. Although, tint and shading percentages represent the amount of light being transmitted through the glass, it does not necessarily mean films with similar visible light transmission (VLT) would perform the same. Here, we will break down the different categories of film on the market.
Traditionally, it is believed that one would have to choose a dark tint to obtain good heat reduction. This is no longer the case with Spectra PhotoSync Nano Tint. This latest technological breakthrough in window film construction is manufactured by Prestige Film Technologies (www.prestige-films.com). We had beta-tested this product since 2008 until management here approved of carrying this product for our distinguished clientele in 2012. What is so different about Spectra PhotoSync Nano Tint? - Excellent heat rejection without affecting visibility or reducing wireless and electronic signals. With high-stability and durability of the properties of nano IR technology, this window film can produce IR (infrared) rejection up to 98.5% without any compromise. Spectra PhotoSync carries a proprietary surface called Solar Adaptive Coating (SAC), which adjusts its heat rejecting capabilities based on the amount of sunlight exposure. Simplified, it performs better in the summer time for heat rejection and in colder climates, it has higher heat retention capabilities. Adding to this benefit - light neutral shade, significant glare reduction, and low reflectivity make this the ultimate window film on the market.
We at Premier, pride ourselves in providing some of the clearest / cleanest results possible. Most vehicles will leave our facility with windows that can be rolled down within 24hrs as we take the time to adequately dry and seal the film. Our installation team is familiar with all makes and models and specializes in Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley, Maserati, Rolls Royce, Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, Porsche, and Lamborghini. Rest assured your vehicle will be pampered with the attention that, only you the owner, would give to the car.
Benefits of window film applied by Premier:
Up to 98.5% Infrared rejection (regardless of tint shade)
film to be brought to the edge of the glass showing little or no gap
UV protection for interior parts from fading (+99% blockage)
Scratch resistant coating on all films
Added privacy
Solar heat reduction – reduce usage of AC
Reduced glare for better day or night time visibility (up to 70%)
Holds broken glass together for added safety
All window films carried by Premier come with a Lifetime Warranty from bubbling, fading, purpling, and peeling (parts and labor included)
With luxury and high-end auto manufacturers now producing cars with higher grade leather, suede and carbon fiber, it has become increasingly crucial to protect these interior parts from fading and cracking through ultraviolet exposure. Besides protecting interior components, there are other benefits of Spectra PhotoSync Nano Tint. Studies have shown, ultraviolet rays are linked to melanoma, a potentially deadly form of skin cancer. It is also important to note that UV rays are known to advance skin’s aging process. All tint we carry will eliminate UV by almost 100%.
With any products we provide, we assure its performance with our own tests. Below are videos we created to show how Spectra PhotoSync Nano Tint compare to other products. CERAMIC FILMS / TINT
One of the more recent technological advancements came in the past 10 years. It was the creation of a product that properly solved the issues of metallic tints. Ceramic tint is capable of rejecting anywhere from 70%-80% (depending on the manufacturer of the product) of infrared rays (IR), this type of technology was important to the continual growth of the entire industry. Over the years of ceramic tints’ growth, it was later realized that some manufacturers’ ceramic products also had some metallic structure, which affected wireless signals (albeit, to a lesser degree compared to metallic tint). The relative higher reflectivity of some ceramic tints is also subjectively negative for vehicle owners.
METALLIZED OR SPUTTERED FILMS /TINT
Metallic or sputtered tint was designed specifically to tackle the low heat rejection capabilities of dyed tint. With a metallic structure, its heat rejection is far superior to non-metallic tint. However, this comes with a sacrifice of it reducing and affecting wireless transmission signals such as AM / FM, radar, cellular, gps, keless entry, etc. This is important as auto manufacturers are using increasing wireless technology equipments in cars of today.
DYED OR NON-METALLIZED FILMS /TINT
Dyed or Non-metallized films (tint) rely on shade and color for solar control. Since this type of film does not have any metals coated or sputtered into it, it does not affect wireless transmission signals (gps, am / fm, cell phones, etc.). At the same time, it needs to be noted that this category of film provides minimal heat rejection because of its basic construction. This type of window tint is designed more for aesthetic purposes than heat rejection. To produce any form of significant heat rejection, one would need to choose a limo type tint at approximately 5-7% VLT (visible light transmission) to see any significant effects of heat blockage. This shade however impedes on visibility.
